WRITTEN CALL EXAMPLE

A good place to start.

Simulation only. No phone call, microphone, recording or message.

Good CurrentGood Current Electrical, Pip speaking. What can we help you with?

Sample callerI’m looking at new pendant lights for the dining room. Can I tell you about the job?

Good CurrentOf course. We’d ask about the lights, your property and suburb, then arrange for an electrician to review the request before confirming scope or a price.

Tell us the job
Good Current / Electrical

No mystery. Just a good process.

A useful enquiry is the start of a conversation. Here’s how the example business would move from your first question to an agreed job.

  1. 01

Tell us what you have in mind.

Choose a service, describe your property and tell us your suburb. If you don’t know the technical term, an everyday description is enough.

  2. 02

    An electrician reviews the request.

The owner checks the location, scope and missing details. Some jobs need a site visit before a useful quote can be prepared. Urgent or unsuitable requests need a different response.

  3. 03

    Agree the scope and timing.

You receive a written scope with inclusions, exclusions and pricing. A preferred date is a request until the business confirms availability and you accept the quote.

  4. 04

The work, and a clear handover.

Access and any power interruption are discussed first. After completion, the business explains the work, provides the documents required for the job and shares the right follow-up contact.

Before a visit is arranged.

Useful details make the first conversation easier. This demo asks only for fictional sample information.

  • Property type and whether you own or rent
  • Suburb, access and parking constraints
  • Room, location and product model if known
  • Preferred timing and any approval needed
